Classical Homeopath
and author of this whole website
I
have run a busy homeopathic practice since 1993 (i.e. for over
18 years at time of this update), with classical
homeopathy being my preferred approach. If homeopathy is new to
you please feel free to contact
me to discuss your questions; however I invite you to browse
my site where you should find an answer to most frequently asked
questions.
I
studied homeopathy on the four year professional course at the
Midlands College of Practical Homeopathy, (created by Robert Davidson,
a founder of the Society of Homeopaths) where I qualified in 1993
Prior
to training in homeopathy I studied herbalism, diet and nutrition,
nutritional supplementation, the Scheüssler tissue salts,
Flower remedies, (Bach, Australian Bush, Bailey, Californian)
and Gem essences.
Over
the years I have presented many seminars and workshops on homeopathy,
lecturing in the UK and abroad, and and I continue to provide
private tuition and mentoring for students and newly qualified
homeopaths. I was a member of the council of the Homeopathic Medical
Association and later worked with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths
to help promote homeopathy to the public.
As
a family man I was lucky to have found out about homeopathy in
time to see it work for the ailments that my children, like all
children, invariably got. In fact my own introduction to homeopathy
was when it cured my two year old daughter’s earache - I
was so amazed by her rapid improvement that I read every book
I could find about homeopathy.
Traditionally,
the lynch-pin of successful homeopathy is the human
interaction between client and practitioner - however the
internet has come of age in the last ten years and this technology
has done much to spread the word about homeopathy and choices
we have in medicine.
Consequently
I have built this website (still in its early stages but with
nearly 2000 pages) as my online contribution to the growing thirst
for self education in healthcare It
is my belief that not until knowledge about the potential of homeopathy
is ingrained in our culture, will we be able to say that there
is a modern understanding of medicine and real choice in healthcare.
To
have that choice may be more important
in the future than many of us realise. This is why it is so important
to promote self-education for the public and the highest levels
of skill for homeopaths.
